Follow the Conversation with @Mentions

Lesley Yarbrough March 31, 2021 · 1 min read

Howdy, creatives. We’re excited to announce a new little feature addition that makes it easier to carry on conversations on Creative Market: @mention functionality is now live across the marketplace! There have been some really great discussions going on and now you can keep track of who’s talking to who. Or is it whom? Grammar aside, it’s one of those small details that makes a big difference and it feels good to get this one out there.

If you use Twitter or Facebook or any number of other platforms that have embraced this standard, you know the drill. Just start with “@” and type the name of the person you’d like to mention and you’ll get a little window with a list of people to choose from. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

Stay tuned for even more feature updates to come, as we’ve got quite a few treats in store for you guys. Cheers!

  • @Derek For someone to show up in the autocomplete list, they must be part of the conversation or be someone you are following :) 9 years ago
  • @Brian Reavis I tried with people I am following, it just wasn't working earlier. I cleared my cache and then it started working. 9 years ago
  • @Lesley Yarbrough I would like to see nested comments. I think it's a bit annoying to see people who commented before a reply be listed on top. I think it's one of those features that makes communicating easy. 9 years ago

  • @The Fireworks Police @Themespixel nested comments are something we explored, but decided to go linear first. They're on the list to revisit sometime here in the coming weeks. :) [@Mantas BačiuÅ¡ka](user:85792) glad to hear you dig it! 9 years ago
