Are you familiar with the International Council of Design (ico-D)? Kim Paulsen (Vice President of the council from 1993-1995) created the concept of “World Design Day” to commemorate the foundation of ico-D on April 27, 1963. Ever since 1995, we’ve been honoring it as World Graphics Day, World Communication Design Day, and some countries recognize it as Graphic Designer Day.
To celebrate, we’re giving out this desktop background featuring a quote by one of design’s greatest advocates, Apple founder Steve Jobs.
