As we approach the end of April, this means that Wedding Season is officially upon us. Love is in the air and future brides all around the world are completely stressing out everyone around them. But the good news is, not everything involving your wedding has to be a stressful endeavor. In fact, certain DIY projects like fun “Save the Date” cards might even help take some of the stress off by allowing you to take a break and get a little creative.
Since the idea of DIY cards sounded like so much fun, this gave us an idea for a new challenge. Creatives, here is your mission, should you choose to accept it:
Challenge
Design a 5×5″ “Save the Date” card that features at least one asset from Creative Market. It can be as small as a texture or as big as a font and it can even be something you sell in your own shop.
How to Enter
Comment on this post with a link to your design and a link to the Creative Market good(s) you used to help create it. You can submit as many cards as you like and entries will be accepted until midnight EST on Friday, May 3rd.
Winners & Prizes
After all the designs are in, our staff will select our top three favorites. Each of the talented winners will receive $50 in marketplace credit, a Creative Market t-shirt, and a copy of The DIY Bride.
If that sounds like fun, here are a few goods from the marketplace that can help get you started.
Cheers and happy creating!
