Windrow - Brush Cursive Font Family

Windrow is a brush-drawn connected cursive with the energy of a signature scrawled across a poster: thick-to-thin strokes that swell on the way down and thin on the way up, letters that sit at their own height and tilt, and long tails that sweep in from the bottom-left and trail off to the right. Every capital and every small letter joins the next in one continuous line.

Three hands, two cuts - six fonts

Each style has its own set of small letters, so you can pick the mood:

• Windrow One - the original hand. Medium brush, gentle 9° slant.

• Windrow Two - loopier and heavier. Looped ascenders, open descender loops, big round bowls, nearly upright with a strong baseline drift.

• Windrow Three - tall and narrow. Spiky arches, a thinner brush, a 14° lean.

Every style comes as a Textured cut (charcoal grain, fibrous edges and dust, traced from the original renders) and a Vector cut (the same strokes with smooth edges for cutting machines, embroidery, large-format print and small sizes).

Connected by design

Small letters join at the baseline with no setup. Letters that finish high (b o v w r) hand over at the top, and F O P V W Y do the same, handled automatically by contextual alternates. Capitals link into the small letter that follows; when a capital stands alone or runs in all caps, it keeps its sweeping tail.

Fashion editorial and magazine spreads, pull quotes, poster and flyer headlines, album and book covers, branding for markets, cafés, florists and vintage shops, packaging, social graphics, wedding and event stationery, and logos that need to look hand-signed.

Character set

A–Z, a–z, 0–9 and 16 marks (. , : ; ! ? ' " - – ( ) & @ * /), plus link forms, tail forms and tailed capitals 210 glyphs per font. Latin only; no accented characters in this release.

Best at 60 pt and above. The textured cuts are large files that's the charcoal.

Works in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Affinity, Procreate, Canva Pro, Figma and Cricut Design Space (use the Vector cuts for cutting). Contextual alternates are on by default in most apps; turn them on if your app lists them.
