It's October 3rd - Real Pen font
About
It's October 3rd
I wanted the font to look exactly like the way I actually write: quickly, with a blue pen, on whatever paper is nearby. A bit slanted, a bit impatient. Tall crossed t’s, a g that drops low, numbers that lean into each other. Real pen texture, the kind you get when the ink runs dry for a second and then catches again.
Every small letter and number has three versions, every capital has two. The font swaps them while you type so nothing ever looks copied. Some words end with a longer stroke on the a, r or t, just like my hand does before it lifts off the page.
Two fonts included:
- Regular — one colour, use any colour you want
- Blue Ink — colour font with real blue ink from the real scanned paper.
390+ characters, ligatures (ff, fi, fl, ffi, ffl, tt), Western & Central European, Baltic, Romanian and Turkish support.
Keep Contextual Alternates and Ligatures on so the letters keep varying. Blue Ink needs an app that supports colour fonts.
