Noir Journal — Wild Ink Script
About
Noir Journal is an expressive handwritten script font family with sweeping curves, elongated strokes, and the spontaneous rhythm of personal handwriting. Romantic and slightly untamed, it brings the feeling of ink on paper to contemporary design.
Made for fashion editorials, beauty branding, wedding invitations, packaging, personal stationery, and expressive headlines. Use it for a distinctive name, a handwritten message, or an accent alongside a simple serif or sans serif.
The full family includes four styles:
-
Regular — delicate, flowing lines with expressive flourishes.
-
Diffusion Bold — fuller strokes with scattered ink texture.
-
Airbrush — soft, sprayed edges and a grainy finish.
-
Roughen — irregular edges with a raw, tactile character.
The textures are built into the fonts, so you can type with them directly.
Each style features:
-
370 glyphs.
-
Uppercase and lowercase letters.
-
Numerals, punctuation, and symbols.
-
Accented Latin characters and the full Russian alphabet.
-
OpenType stylistic alternates for punctuation and symbols.
Formats: OTF and WOFF2.
Access the alternate punctuation and symbols through Stylistic Set 1 in software that supports OpenType features.
