About

This collection of vintage ephemera includes five hi-res telegrams: three based on historic telegram companies (Western Union circa 1934, Postal Telegraph circa 1931, and Civil War-era American Telegraph Company circa 1860s) and two original designs.

While I created these telegrams with theatrical prop makers and scenic designers in mind, they would add a layer of history and texture to a variety of projects including: film productions, themed attraction décor, tabletop RPG, virtual escape rooms, personal notes & mementoes, junk journals & scrapbooking, wedding announcements, and ephemera-inspired décor.

Prop makers and crafters can print the transparent PNG’s (without the digital paper background) on their choice of paper and physically distress the printed telegram to the desired level. Add your own messages digitally or on a typewriter and send vintage notes to your friends and family. Enjoy this dip into a bygone era of telegraph communication!

Each telegram includes:

PSD file with paper background and inked text on separate layers
Two JPGs: one with textured ink and one with untextured ink
Two transparent PNGs: one with textured ink and one with untextured ink

How can I unzip product files?

PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
