We love a good rebranding story here at Creative Market, and with that in mind, let me present to you the current rebranding campaign of TBS. You’ll know them as the network that brought Conan O’Brien back to late-night, plus plays a ton of Law & Order reruns (although that might be USA, or both of them, frankly, who knows). Regardless, their new logo is pretty sweet.
Designer Sean Heisler was tasked with the change, and as he explains on his website, he had a pretty specific plan of action:
“I tackled the work, creating a logo that is consistently bold, yet flexible in its use. Like the original content the network is intent on producing, the logo’s letterforms are custom creations. Additionally, there is no set color palette, and the logotype may be used with and without its “slashed rectangle” container. This versatility allows TBS to incorporate the logo in surprising, dynamic ways that mirror the brand’s bold, brash new image.”
Sean has some o ther great logo examples on his website as well, so feel free to drop by for further inspiration, or just to compliment him on his great work.
