22 Oddly Satisfying Animations for Anyone Obsessed with Color

Are you obsessed with color? Now I'm not talking about just liking cool shades now and then, I'm referring to being truly in-deep with color. You want to live in one shade — or all of them. You're addicted today, but it's not a new thing — it's been there your entire life. The type of color fan that would check into rehab if one existed — that kind of obsessive. If you are, well then have I got a gift for you.

I've rounded up some of the best GIFs and videos you've ever seen that will make your color-loving head soar in glee. These are so satisfying to watch that it verges on indulgent. Let me put it this way: if these videos were at a restaurant, it would be making noises that would prompt another customer to say, "I'll have what she's having." Get my drift?

And to make things a bit easier, I've grouped them by theme. You know, that way you can pick your faves. Enjoy.

I don't know what it is, but watching paint being mixed is relaxing. Of course, it has to do with the methodology and all that, but I think you'll get my drift once you watch a few of these.

Enjoy that, did you? Well that's good, because I did, too. In fact, it inspired me quite a bit. That's why you'll have to excuse me, but I have some coloring to do.

  1. I was the kid who would rather be swirling the paint colors together on my tray than painting on the paper...and now the adult who looks at the mountain vs. the sky in the morning and sees palette options! Color is an addiction! Thanks for this post.
