Uber opens its API with 11 big brand launch partners, including OpenTable, TripAdvisor, and more. The introduction of their API is designed to increase reach and get in front of lots of potential new users.
12. Love for the Elderly
A new start-up that empowers younger generations to send kind letters to the many elderly citizens in the US who have no one to care for them or show them love.
13. Feedie
Turn your foodie photos into real food for kids. Download the app and connect it to your social networks. Visit a participating Feedie restaurant, use the app to share a photo of your meal, and the restaurant will make a donation equal to one meal into The Lunchbox Fund.
14. Raincast
A simple app that displays a real time probability chance of rain or snow at your location directly on your smart phone’s home screen. This is some great outside of the box thinking.
15. Sache
Discover Sass and Compass extensions and tools for your next project.
16. The Verge: Kanye Samples
Browse a listenable history of samples that are borrowed by Kanye West across all of his albums. Fascinating to hear the original samples and how they were used in many of his songs.
17. LiveSurface Context
Work in the real world with Context, a revolutionary Mac application that enables you to visualize your design ideas without leaving Illustrator. You can drag and drop surfaces from the shop into your project folder, edit the template by applying your artwork, and send finished comps to your team or client.
18. Mailbox for Mac Beta
Although you’ll need an access coin from a friend, Mailbox for Mac is a beta that you don’t want to miss. They’re planning on replacing painful traditional email altogether, so you’ll want to follow their progress. Have a look at this review on The Verge.
19. Teddy the Guardian
The first smart teddy bear on the market, Teddy the Guardian is like Teddy Ruxpin for the next generation. He’s full of sensors to track vital signs of the child who is playing with him.
20. Song Exploder
Do you like listening to process stories? Song Exploder is a podcast where musicians take apart their songs, piece by piece, and tell the story of how they were made.
21. Generate Gif
Do you love Sketch App and animated gifs? Well, now you can combine the two with this nifty plugin, that empowers you to generate animated gifs from a sequence of art boards in Sketch.

23. Swing Copters

24. The Firm
Created by Sunnyside Games, The Firm was released Tuesday for iOS in the App store. Watch the film trailer, and enjoy all the glory of this hilarious business parody 8-bit game.
25. Google Photo Sphere Camera
Create beautiful 360º images and publish them to Google maps. Brilliant stuff.
26. Designer News API
Did you know that LayerVault released an API for news.layervault.com in February this year? It was the most requested feature, and comes with full documentation to boot.
28. PayPal One-Touch Mobile Checkout
PayPal just announced that it’s rolling out a one-touch mobile checkout for apps.
29. Fraym
If you need a CMS built on PHP, then you won’t want to miss this new open source content management system that’s currently in beta.
30. The Sugar Lab
This makes my sweet tooth hurt. 3d systems is experimenting with 3d printing delicious confections.
31. Ugly Notes
This is pretty funny. Send a greeting card with a well-designed, but terrible message.
32. Realistic iOS App Icons
Browse a beautiful collection of realistic app icons made by the folks of Ramotion. This certainly is a knock against flat design and takes skeumorphism to new heights.
33. PSFK: The Maker’s Manual
The Maker’s Manual is a free download explores how DIY artists, inventors and entrepreneurs are leveraging new tools, platforms and services to take their ideas from concepts to reality.
